The Aventador is the latest V12 bull to come from Lamborghini. It features a V12 producing 692hp, launching the AWD exotic car to 60 in just 2.7 seconds. The car’s sole competitor is the F12 Berlinetta, which produces more power at 730hp. The Aventador’s interior is very good, with Audi-influence in the ergonomics and navigation system. This is a huge improvement from the Murcielago, a car whose interior was often viewed as the low point of the car. The “Audi-ness” of the interior is fine, because it adds to the car, instead of being a negative aspect. The car’s 7-speed single-clutch gearbox is where the car receives the most criticism. A dual-clutch could have been used, which would have made the car faster, easier to drive and more comfortable, but Lambo decided to go with the single-clutch, as it provides “a more intense supercar experience”. The car’s styling is (of course) very good, and looks like no other car on the market today. The sound the V12 makes is also, as expected, very good. The Aventador is offered as a coupe, and a roadster version has just been released, which will go on sale in summer of 2013.
